Empowering HIV/AIDS women to finish the Tilapia fish ponds

Greetings Everyone! The first of three fish ponds has now been completed! We have found a group of HIV/AIDS women that can dig a fish pond in ten days and make great money as well so they will finish the Tilapia project for us as well as complete an extensive irrigation project we have lined up for this summer.

A group will be heading back to Kenya in early October and working with African farmers in order to plant maze, water melon and other African crops for our kids as well as cash crops to sell. Nomad has even leased additional land down by the Athi River to grow additional water melon for profit.

Nomad would like to apologize to our funders and grant folks on the delay of this project as we had some personnel issues but we are back on track and things couldnt be better. Stay tuned for more fish updates shortly!
